On Saturday, March 4, Hope Anne Dueck, along Mary Byler and Ruth Ann Brubaker, attended the Amish Abuse Awareness Conference in Middlefield, OH. Thanks to the generous support of donors and the fantastic help of Schlabach Printers, we were able to print the latest resources, How to Report Abuse and Statutes of Limitation in Ohio, as well as the brochure Types of Abuse, for distribution.
We are pleased to announce we were officially allowed to bring in a box of our precious resources, and they were placed on the Amish Abuse Awareness resource table!
Many people picked up the resources, and we have already received some strongly positive feedback. There is a great need for resources of best-practice information on abuse in Amish communities. Your help and prayers in this effort are appreciated!
